US Renter Q & A

I made a rental agreement. I gave a deposit check and a rental check to the management.I had money in my account to cover the cost. By the time they had deposited the checks I irresponsibly had spent the money. It is almost the second month where I would be able to cover both months. Other than that I have perfect rental history.Do you have any advice?

The only thing that I can advice is to talk to your landlord that you irresponsibly spent the money for the rent. Apologize and tell them that you wont do it again, that it was an honest mistake. Ask them to give you a chance to still stay on the house.Be sincere. I know they will sense that you were sorry for what happen. I’m confident that they will give you another opportunity as you have had a perfect rental history. Good luck! :)
