I live in a 55+ complex. One would think at “our” age there would be civility.
I’ve had an ongoing run in with a resident who says I should not park in Handicap parking, even though I have the proper permits issued by my Dr and the State.  She complains to others (it’s a gossip central here) about me to other resident. I have to endure disrespect by other residents, from those calling me “ignorant white trash”, from those getting off the elevator when I get one. Admittedly I finally had it one with one woman and told her to F*** YOU. I’m at my whit’s end – not to emotionally stress out.  After my verbally telling the one resident to F*** YOU – the Sheriff was called. Of course nothing happened – but it’s just an ongoing serious of events. At every “coffee” – meeting – even card game – I’m the subject. Each time the story is told – there are additions.  What can I do?
