Problem with landlord/ fumigation on August 19th for 2 days… renters rights in ca?

CO Uncategorized

Hello neighbors!!!!

I have a situation and need some answers!  Next week on August 19th our whole apartment complex will be fumigated in Northern Ca.  we just got notified with a letter we have to be out for two days on august 10th.  It is the firt day of school.  They told us before it would be done before school and now they changed everything on us.  I do not know how many days they have legally to do BIG obs for fumigation in california but everyone is a little upset that they have to leave their home and belongings.  I had talked to m manager abpout this because our family has an 80 gallon aquarium with about ten big fish in it.  I asked him the other day to help me find hep to relocate the fish for two days because we cannot have any live animals during fumigation.  Both of the managers were in the apartment when I talked to them about this issue and the main manager made fun of me and said all you have to do is put them in a smaller ten gallon tank.  I told him that they are bigger fish and they knew we had the fish since we started living here and were ok with it.  He then said if you do not move the fishies they will die.  I am really upset that he is not being professional to me and making fun of a serious matter.  How can I handle him and can I terminate my lease early because of his actions?  Please help me.  Thanks.  Is there any websites?  I cannot face him anymore. did he do something wrong because he is a manager?  Please get back to me.  I am in california.  Any professional advice grt!!!!!
