WE ARE RENTING A HOME WITH NO HEAT – LANDLORD HAS BREACHED THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF HABITABILITY.  WHEN I TOLD HER I WAS WITHOLDING RENT UNTIL SHE SUPPLIED US WITH HEAT AND WHEN HEAT WAS WORKING I WOULD ONLY PAY 1/2 OF RENT.  I ALSO INFORMED HER WE WOULD BE SEEKING PARTIAL RENT REIMBURSMENT FOR THE MONTHS THAT WE LIVED IN THIS HELL HOLE.  WINDOW ARE PAINTED SHUT NO VENTALATION IN SUMMER – GAPS IN WINDOWS CREATING COLD NORTH WIND IN WINTER.  I WROTE A DEMAND FOR PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF 3800 DOLLARS FOR A PERCENTAGE OF RENT PAID BECAUSE WE CAN ONLY EXIST IN TWO ROOMS,  SHE TORE UP THE DEMAND AND SAID WE WOULD BE GETTING A 3 DAY NOTICE.  WHAT DO YOU THINK – I WELCOME IT FROM EVERYTHING THAT I HAVE RESEARCHED I THINK I MIGHT HAVE A CASE.  WOULD WELCOME FEEDBACK
