In May of 2007 my rental unit was broken into. As a result of the breakin the door was damaged and has not worked properly since. A police report was fileed at the time of breakin. I have given management several opportunities to fix the problem, however, they have not provided a safe solution. The door frame was bent due to the breakin and will only latch shut with the deadbolt is used. I feel that the my security is at risk and feel I have no option but to seek a new rental. Mananagement has failed to provide a safe livinging environment, therefore they have breached there contract and obligations. |
