COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

My landlord called me to ask if I would pay for lawncare since they were not able to get to it. When I did and then deducted it from my rent, he demanded he would not pay it and threatened to evict me, yelled at me and hung up each time I tried to call back and resolve the issue. He couldn't answer why he never showed up to take care of the lawn in over two months if he hadn't asked it to be paid for by myself and offered to repay me. Upon hanging up on me, he then stopped answering my calls.

Landlord Jun 17, 2009 71.195.226.212 FAX RESPONSE2: (to Agent) We called her and ask who cut the lawn and she informed us the neighbors kid. I ask her if she paid him to do it and she said she did not. So I let her know we would be taking care of it from now on and if she had paid this one time we would have refunded her the cost. It was then a surprise that when we received her rent it was short one hundred dollars. I told her that it was not authorized and the rent needed to be paid in full.

Landlord Jun 17, 2009 71.195.226.212 FAX RESPONSE3: (to Agent) She has since refused and has called our office several times calling us inresponsible landlords and liars. We have informed her we would be filing for eviction on June 12th which was Friday, if we did not have her rent in full. We will be filing it today. We think that in this situation it is better for us to sever our relationship with Ms. Gregory as she is not happy in our unit.

Landlord Jun 17, 2009 71.195.226.212 FAX RESPONSE1: (To Agent) The grass in her yard is in the front and back, she called us at the very beginning of the season about her grass at the back, we informed her we were trying to get to it but, it was raining consistently and so it was getting in the way, but assured her it would be taken care of. Finally we were able to get to her lawn which when we got there the back lawn was cut, not the front.
