I would like to address the absurd letter that was left on my front door today. First of all the gentleman you are referring to does not ??reside? in my apartment he is my friend and visits or stops by, why I have to explain this to you is just completely ridiculous and absurd. I am allowed to have guests visit me. I work for and have worked for Commercial Real Estate Management Companies for my entire career I have over 15 years employment experience in New York City and now over two years in Portland, Oregon. I work for a company that has been in service for over 35 years and my employer is a 40 year Lake Oswego resident. I know the laws and I know my rights. I am an extremely cordial and respectful person and the people that I surround myself with are as well. If a friend or or a visitor of mine was annoyed enough to have to come down to the leasing office to address an issue with one of the employees than something must have happened to warrant my friend to have to raise his voice. I was not there when this incident occurred I was away until Sunday I left Saturday afternoon however I do know what was told to me. I know from two past incidents from my friend/guest whatever you wish to call him which occurred when has gone to use the gym on two separate occasions I was not aware that he needed to have me there to escort him if that is the rule I of course abide by that rule however silly I think it is escorting a guest to use the gym seems quite silly to me especially since it occurred only twice and since I have personally seen many guests using the gym without the tenant escorting them, fine this is the rule like I said I fully abide by that rule. On both occasions he was basically interrogated regarding who he was and why was he there just beyond the norm of questioning him which frankly is a form of harassment the same way that someone might feel that they have been harassed my guest felt harassed, this word ??harassed? needs to be more clearly defined and one??s perception of harassment can vary greatly from another??s. My stand however is my belief in my friend whom I believe 110% not only because of me knowing of his character but because I have had heard of incidents in the leasing office from three other tenants who have complained specifically about Monica being a nasty person in general.
