COMPLAINT : Eviction Notice Sent for non-payment of Bed Bug Treatment Fees
Fair Resolution according to renter :
  1. I did spend $500 to dispose my couch and bed. Now I am being asked to pay around $1500 for the bed bug treatment in my apartment.
  2. I am willing to share as I understand its a mutual problem and no one really knows where bedbugs come from.

COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

a. 26th Aug: First call to Maintenance. With URGENCY mentioned (6 month old and 6 year old boys at home) b. 28th Aug: No maintenance person contacted us. We saw one bed bug on the bed and due to fear, moved the bed to the trash room (did not drag it, it was lifted and nothing was put on the carpet) c. We called maintanence again on Monday. d. Inspectors came on Monday afternoon (5 days later) to confirm the couch was infested. e. Junk Clunkers came on Tuesday (6 days later) to take away couches and the bed. Paid $400 to the clunkers. f. Thursday (8 days later), treatment guys came at 4pm. I was told that the charge is around $1500 and I am liable for 100% of the amount.
