Landlord refuses to fix air conditioning that was broken when moved in. Said a family member stole the copper off the unit and unit would get fixed or window units could be purchased. Now she is saying that she isn't paying for the air conditioning unit to be fixed or paying for window units.

Agent Mar 10, 2011 LANDLORD RESPONSE: (Sent to agent) Landlord states that she didn't want to rent the trailer to the tenants in question because it was not ready for rent, but then after repeated phone calls the landlord agreed to rent the trailer under the condition that the tenants would fix the floors, wall painting, which in turn they would not be charged a deposit and would take some of the rent off. The air conditioner was not working at the time they rented the apartment and was not agreed to be in working order. The landlord states that she is on a fixed income and could not afford to repair the AC. The landlord feels that she has been fair and would has apparently given notice for them to move.
