In early February, there was a significant freezing in Denver when temperatures went twenty degrees below zero. During this time a pipe froze and burst, flooding my apartment. The apartment community is trying to say it was my fault for leaving the heat off, but there is no off switch for the thermostat, so I do not see this blame as being founded. Their insurance should cover accidental damage due to faulty pipes or poor insulation.
