COMPLAINT : Removal of Tradeline for paid debt.
Fair Resolution according to renter :
  1. Written letter from Rivers Bend stating the Rivers Bend tradeline will be deleted off my credit report.

COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

I had an outstanding debt to Rivers Bend for $245.29. It went to a collection agency. I paid off that balance on August 3, 2009. I recently applied for a mortgage and was declined because the Rivers Bend trade line is still showing on my credit report. I have contacted the property manager and the property management company via certified mail and e-mail and they are unwilling to help me get this removed. I have informed them that according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act section § 605. Requirements relating to information contained in consumer reports [15 U.S.C. §1681c] subsection (c) there is no statute saying that a creditor must report a trade line to that is mandatory to keep reporting it. Without this trade line removed, I am unable to get funding approved for a mortgage. I have supporting documents for this complaint, as well as all the correspondence that has taken place. Please provide me with an avenue to provide the supplemental document support and I hope that this complaint well allow me to be able to have a future with my wife and family. Thank you
