COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

I decided to file a complaint about my current landlord because it has come to a point where it is unacceptalble. I have felt discomfort and suffered from this landlord's constant neurotic and stalking behavior for those 2 years of leasing. Finally, I decided to move out and gave the landlord a 60 day notice. She started to show the apt to the future tenants. On April 3, 11 she called to my cell while I was at work, and told me that there are some people who wanted to see the apt on the same day. Regardless of her short notice, I permitted her to enter to the apt. At night, when I came home after work, I totally felt that my privacy has been violated. I put many books on the drawer in the bedroom; however, all of those books were removed and were in the drawers where our personal items belong in the bedroom. I put my pajamas on the bed, but discovered that they were removed in my closet. In the bathroom, I found that my trash can was empty..., she went into my trash, too...I know that my menstrual waste were thrown away (I am very sorry for my vivid expression) and it was totally my embarrassment. Eventually, I found out that she went into to all of my garbege boxes in my apt since everything was empty. My paperwork (mails, insurance info, Rx, Identification Cards, etc) on the kitchen counter were all removed to the side. My furniture was moved to the side, my couch sheets have been dissapeared, and my shoes on the shoe rack were removed. I remember that I permited her to enter the apt but I never permitted her to clean my rooms and touch my personal belongings. I feel that this circumstance is applied to invasion of privacy and I totally feel that my right as a tenant has been jeopardized. Now I am seeking for help.

Agent Jun 2, 2011 LANDLORD REFUSAL: Despite repeated attempts both written and verbal, the Landlord/ Manager has refused to respond to the complaint. Due to the landlords refusal to cooperate with RPA Mediation, the RPA has no choice but to close this case. The tenant will need to seek other legal options such as court.
