COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

The new landlord has known about this problem since they purchased the property 8 months ago, and it has only gotten worse. The only thing the landlord has done is to have a handyman cover a section of the roof with plastic a couple months ago. The handyman stated the landlord would have professional roofers out here to repair or replace the roof within a few days. Even the board member I met with early April stated they needed to get the roof fixed. They never did. The roof leaks when it rains and when the snow melts, and has caused damage inside. Now that the landlord laid out some plastic (about 2 months ago) the snow doesn't melt but instead falls down as an avalanche and is extremely dangerous. The noise from the roof and roof gutters is unbearable every time the wind blows and it blows most of the time here in Reno, Nevada. Day and night.
