I have had at least 5 encounters of my landlord calling me several days later notifying me that they have not receieved my rent. So I have to pay the late fees which aren't reasonable and also they only give me one option on how and where to pay, its by mail. period. It has never been late just lost. EVERY TIME. I am always more than willing to be responsible if I were to late and if I were I would definitely make my landlord very aware and be more than willing to pay the late fees, but therefore they have only have called me to say they have not received several times and several days later and give me only one option to pay by mail when if it has been "lost" several times in the mail it certainly does not make me comfortable to mail such a large amount and mail money for a place I call home. It IS NOT fair this keeps happening, I dont feel I need to keep worrying month after month to see if I still have a place to live with my children. I dont make a lot of money for this to keep happening cause I send it money order and when that gets lost it takes 30 days to receive a new one, which I dont have the time or back up money for. I am very upset and concerned for my well being and my childrens well being for a place we call home.
