I have rented this studio apartment for 2 months of May and June 2011 as my sister was visiting me for graduation. Everything was ok. The agreement was made by Arthur Nanman he is the boyfriend of Melanine Simmerman as she was away. I have only been in touch wit Arthur throughout, but originally the apartment is in the name of Melanine. I was due to vacate the apt on the 28th of June and also receive my deposit check on that day but Arthur told that he was caught in a family emergency and would mail the check. He sent a text message saying that the check he sent came back to him and from then on there is no communication. He does not reply to the text and cuts all the calls I have made. He is a big liar and a fraud. I have all the texts that he has sent me and the ones that I have sent him.

Agent Sep 9, 2011 LANDLORD REFUSAL: Despite repeated attempts both written and verbal, the Landlord/ Manager has refused to respond to the complaint. Due to the landlords refusal to cooperate with RPA Mediation, the RPA has no choice but to close this case. The tenant will need to seek other legal options such as court.
