On July 19th, I signed a 1 yr agreement lease with Sahara Palms and I began moving a couple items to apartment 235. For that week everything was fine. On Saturday, July 23th, 2011. I moved the last of my items into my new apartment, saw one of our neighbors parked in my parking space, asked him if he could move his car because I was in the process of moving. He responded with a smile and reply, "Oh really" then got into his car and drove off. I ignored the responds and continue moving my stuff into the apartment. Sunday, I stayed home at my other apartment with my son until Monday, July 25th, to finished moving our stuff. My son went to work that morning and I went to the apartment to start organizing our item. When I arrived, I saw the window by our patio missing and the door was cracked open. The window was located inside in the apartment. Papers, clothes, shoes and others were all over the floor. The items they took were specific items. I reported to the manager while both maintenance workers were there, letting her know I live in apartment #253 and reporting burglary to our apartment. The manager looked at both maintenance workers, both of them looked each other, back at the manager, smiled with a little giggle and say do I have the police report. I responded no and she said she will not take action of repairing my window located by the patio and the front till she has the police report. I called metro, file a report, and the office specifically tells my son report to the manager, notify them metro is in our apartment waiting for maintenance to repair our door and window and specifically take action immediately. One of the maintenance workers, by the name of Erick, shows up to our apartment and asked me what was needed to be repaired. I told him the window by the patio was need to put back in as well as the front door needed to be fix. He didn't responded and went straight to the window. He grabs the window, puts it back in within 3 sec and responded "That's it?" with an attitude. I told him how come the locks for the window werenâ??t there began with and he responded, "If you have a problem, talk to the manager." I ignored the remark and told him the front door also needs to be fix. He goes to the front door, inspect it, and respond to himself, "This wasn't like that before.â? He replaced the lock, handed our new keys, then he left. I am terrified to leave my house when I know the maintenance workers have a copy to my apartment. I contacted the manag
