COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

I found out I had bed bugs back in January of 2011. I told the managment and nothing was done, i purchased a bed bug insecticide from the local farm and home supply store, and sprayed my apartment and threw out my couch and recliner trying to resolve the problem myself. Now seven months later the problem is worse than before, i recently brought the issue back up to Wayne and Levi and was told just to keep spraying the pesticide to control the bed bugs, I have three children under the age 5 and im also eight months pregnant. We are getting eaten alive in a place we should be safe.

LANDLORD / TENANT RESPONSES (1)
From Date IP Address Response
Renter Sep 12, 2011 99.95.233.175 The landlord has paid for my apt. to be sprayed and the exterminator drilled holes approximately 16 in apart in the walls throughout the apt and put dust behind the walls on September 5, 2011 and will return to spray in a couple weeks. I tried to push the idea of a heat treatment (which is what I would prefer to be done) but they insisted that the liquid spray and dust would take care of the problemg. If the sray and dust does not end up working I would like the landlords to pay for a heat treatment to be done. I would also like them to cover the cost of the laundry mat, trash bags, and vinyl mattress covers I had to purchase. $40 laundry mat, $24 for mattress covers, and $6 for trash bags to bag all of my clothing and bedding.
