COMPLAINT : Just want my money back.
Fair Resolution according to renter :
  1. I arrived at this house 74 hours ago. Over the phone, the lady(owner) had promised me a spacious room and on independent bathroom.
  2. I was moving from Naples, Florida to Miami and took her word for it. Once I made it to her house, it turned out to be a very small room and
  3. a bathrrom shared by at least 5 people. I had no where to go and all my belongings in the car. I gave her $700.00. $450.00 rent and $250.00
  4. Security. Less tham 24 hours later, I realized she had not given me the proper info on the room and bath and I asked her for my money back.
  5. She wanted to keep $250.00. I am a senior citizen on Social Security and could not possible lose that kind of money.

COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

This lady has turned her house into a rental place. As a senior, I have a host of illnesses that I have to be very careful with and living in a "community" as this, could be very negative for my entire health and the medication I take. I have COPD (Respiratory problems), heart condition, osteoporosis, vertigo and other illnesses so common in people my age. ALL I want, is to get my money back. There are no contracts, leases or writing agreements. I need to move to a place with a bit of privacy and my own bathroom. The possibility of catching on infection with so many people using ONE bathroom, increases greatly and at my age, 65, I need to be as careful as possible. If this lady wants to keep $100.00 for the couple days I stayed in her house, fine, but I need the balance to pay for another place, move into it and get on with my life. She refuses to be reasonable and is forcing me to stay here till the middle of October. In the meantime, I am an Social Security, my only income and have no one to help me out. WILL YOU PLEASE HELP ME?
