COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter) |
Bed bugs discovered around 11:30pm 8/16, notified management at 1:58am 8/17, spoke with management in the morning and exterminator came to confirm presence of bed bugs. Management let us know morning 8/18 Plunkett's would be coming for treatment. Treatment performed by Plunkett's 8/24/11. Landlord followed correct protocol and covered treatment costs. Received letter on the evening of 10/19 stating we owed $1,183.88 for treatment costs. Dropped off letter for them tonight under office door. I have attached both letters.

LANDLORD REFUSAL: Despite repeated attempts both written and verbal, the Landlord/ Manager has refused to respond to the complaint. Due to the landlords refusal to cooperate with RPA Mediation, the RPA has no choice but to close this case. The tenant will need to seek other legal options such as court. |
