COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

I began suffering from bite marks and welts less than two weeks after moving in to this apartment, from another apartment in Chicago. I had never suffered them before, and I had not traveled anywhere in the months before moving. Planned Property Management was notified immediately upon diagnosis. The office had someone contact me about free extermination service and amenities to help with the infestation. After details were worked out, Planned Property called back, saying that they would not exterminate until I was completely moved out, and they expected me to move out within the next month. They offered free rent for that time period, but Dan Walter said I must vacate the apartment. No moving package was offered, and he explicitly stated that I could not take any other vacant apartment, because I would just spread the bed bugs to the new apartment. There are multiple complaints on the internet about this company, and specifically about bed bugs and the company's response to complaints.
