I rented from 12/2012 to 4/2012 at 25259 Colgate / Dearborn Heights Mi I paid $750 first months rent plus $750 deposit . I specially told him I'm not going to be staying long just couple of months. He agreed as long as I gave him 30 days notice I will get back my deposit . No mention of water bill only that utilities ( gas & electric) I put in my name & pay. I paid faithfully on time gave him 30 day notice - left house clean and he refuses to pay my deposit $750. First he said he'll deduct water bill and give me remaining then now completely refuses-( I have copy of water bill) which was $132.48 for the months I stayed there. He also said that I only stayed few months and he's losing money so is not going to pay me deposit . I want future renters to beware of this man Haroon Al- Altarri- his family are purchasing houses in Dearborn /Dearborn heights renting them & cheating off good people. I'm a teacher a good citzen honest and paid every month on time. It's sad people cheat other people.
