COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

Landlord posted property for rent on Craigslist. Showed me apartment. Gave me application. I filled out application and provided her with $50 application fee and $250 deposit to hold the place. She informed that she would email me lease and I could move in by weeks end once background check returned. She then cashed my check and left town. After several attempts to contact her with limited success I am filing complaint and intend to press charges. I never received lease it move in date. It has been 7 days but my check was cashed 6 days ago.
