COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

Bed bug infestation started in second week in August 2012. We called a pest control company but were told by the leasing office that we had to use their chosen pest control company. We had to wait 6 days until the pest control person showed up. He gave us instructions to prepare the apartment for his treatment (sparaying). Once the unit was sprayed the first time we continued to find bed bugs spreading throughout the aparment. The first time we contacted the leasing office regarding payment of services. They did cover the cost of the first treatment. We contacted them a second time after the infestation problem became worse, regarding letting us out of the lease. We have been staying at a family members home as the aprtment is uninhabitable. Our goal is twofold. 1) All current and future treatments will be paid for by the leasing/corporate office. 2) To be released from the lease.
