COMPLAINT : Breach of agreement/ Cleaning fees dispute

COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

There is a lot wrong with Eagle Ranch and this is why I have moved. To start this all out we got robbed in January of 2011 at Eagle Ranch by our neighbor who had already had a felony charge and according to lease we are not supposed to have felony charges on our record to be able to rent at Eagle Ranch Apartments, he moved in the weekend after we had moved in. I sent numerous emails to try to resolve all problems we have had with maintenance issues and have only had a few of the complaints addressed. I asked for various items to be fixed and never had one fixed correctly the first time, as it was the refrigerator was still leaking upon move out. I have sent many emails asking for an answer and have given Eagle Ranch ample amount of time to fix there errors and never did, so I decided to move out and located to another NALS property hence the transfer fee. The refrigerator leaked from the freezer causing the kitchen to have standing water and would probably make a mess as it did while we still lived there. Maintenance came in to supposedly replace filters for the air conditioner but instead we have a video of them reading a subpoena that was laying on our couch. The front office said he was reading what he thought was a work order. and nothing got done.. Upon moving out they sent a cleaning fee list and I have pictures to prove I did clean and did not steal anything. So I want this to be dismissed and possibly reimbursement for what we had to deal with living at Eagle Ranch. Oh one last thing for three months we had to deal with a sewer smell that they thought we were crazy, because until they smelled it they told us it wasn't there. After 3 months they finally smelled the horrid smell and proceeded to snake our drains not solving the problem until we told them maybe they need to snake all the drains in the building clean to get rid of the smell, it worked. Since moving we are very happy with the staff at Sombra Del OSo Apartments which are owned by the same management company but the staff actually does the job right and cares how the tents living conditions are, we are very happy now.
