COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

I first noticed the Bed Bugs in September 2012. I did not discover what they actually where until the following month. I immediately notified my complex manager(Veronica Ramirez) of the issue, and she informed me that an exterminator would be there in a few days. I told her that was unacceptable and i refuse to be forced to live with parasites, in which she told me there was nothing she could do. After doing some research on the parasites i informed the exterminator when he arrived at my building that the chemicals he brought would not adequately eliminate the problem. I told him they have formed immunities to modern chemicals and only treating the entire building will get rid of the infestation. He refused to listen to me and spot treated my apartment with spray chemicals. More of the parasites where found in my apartment days later. I actually killed one myself and showed the dead bug to my manager. Again she called the same exterminator to treat my apartment. He returned and did the same spot treatment to my apartment, despite my request that the building be tented OR a heat treatment be done to my apartment. These two methods being commonly known effective ways to properly eliminate the infestation. I have for a 3rd time discovered these parasites in my apartment. I have again requested that the entire building be treated and again have been denied. The same exterminator is going to come back and do the same treatment again for a 3rd time despite its constant failure. I would like my entire building to be treated, thus eliminating the problem. Also the rent i was forced to pay while living under these unsuitable living conditions be reimbursed(October 2012 -February 2013). Also reimbursement for the property that was lost as a result of the infestation which includes 1 mattress and 1 couch. I have testimonials from other tenants who are dealing with the same issue in my building. Paperwork, and photographs backing my claims.
