I recently moved to Spanish ridge February 1st, I complained by March of bug bites and showed Heather the landlord a picture. She brushed me off and dismissed me claiming they were not bed bugs and gave me the run around. By April the problem had worsened and I asked for her to send pest control out, she then had them come out and the pest man said I did not have them. A week later I had received more bites and I actually caught a bed bug on the wall. I called Heather once again to have pest control come back out. This time pest control found evidence of bugs and suggested a $350 treatment. I explained to Heather I was not responsible for the bugs and had not had them in my previous residence. I also explained they were not on or inside my bed, but in the kitchen and on the walls. The pest man can confirm all this. She was not accommodating or understanding, but instead accused me of bringing bugs everywhere I go and explained that when I visited her office they had to immediately spray the chair I sat in to prevent further infestation. I am insulted by her lack of empathy and I really do not appreciate her attitude toward the whole situation. I've done lots of research on bed bugs and am fully aware of how they operate so for her to speak to me in such a manner is revoking.
