Fair Resolution according to renter :
  1. Hire a certified bed bug exterminator to eliminate the bed bug infestation
  2. If we (the tenants) must hire the exterminator, we request to be reimbursed for all fees associated.

COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

We have just recently determined there are bed bugs in our apartment. We suspect they are located in the bedroom, but they could potentially be anywhere in the apartment. We have not slept or spent the night in any other location other than our own apartment for a considerable amount of time, especially not recent to the discovery of the bed bugs. Veronica went to a doctor today because she's been experiencing numerous itchy red bug bites. The doctor confirmed it's bed bugs. We keep our apartment clean and tidy, vacuum regularly, as well as dust and clean all surfaces. We have no reason to believe that we caused this infestation due to uncleanliness or anything else. We understand the nature of bed bugs is that they can travel from exterminating only our apartment.
