This lease was signed on April 14, 2013 with many verbal promises and issues previously discussed and needing to be corrected on this property prior to the beginning of our residency on May 1, 2013. You cashed our deposit check ($600) and first month’s rent ($600) on April 18, 2103. The promises and issues have not been addressed/ fixed in regards to this residence, to date, and therefore we are unable to move in as scheduled. Since you verbally stated you would put no more money into making the residence livable AND it is not livable “as is”, we have not moved in and are not going to move in at all. The following is still an issue, to date, at the 1033 Wyoming St., Dayton, OH 45410 address: 1) animal stench-waste odors throughout the house; 2) windows that do not seal/ have gaps-leaks (at least 3-4 downstairs and 1-2 upstairs; 3) lights that do not function/ bulbs missing, stairway, bathrooms, bedroom, ceiling fans, etc.; 4) main level bathroom missing mirror; 5) hole in kitchen floor … can see light outside 6) back door in kitchen … dead bolt is only lock, door knob is worthless, missing door trim: 7) no kitchen cabinets for dish, pan, pantry storage, etc.; 8) upstairs bedroom door broken … hole/ split wood thru the middle; 9) upstairs bedroom floors need painted too; 10) standing water in basement; and 11) The whole interior of the house needs painted (basement, main, and upstairs).
