Upon first moving in in January we were consistently getting bit. Registered complaint with landlord and after non-cooperation I contacted code and he finally moved on the issue. First pest control professional said it looked like it might be bedbugs. Showed Landlord Marvin my daughter's line bite pattern and he replied that my daughter probably had a rash that I was not attending to. I warned him that if it was bedbugs he had bigger problems for our property damage. He then screamed at us to take our money and get out so we could never see each other again. He rescinded this offer and we did not continue to complain as bedbugs was not yet provable and landlord was proving to be not a nice person to deal with. Landlord Joan was notified as of 07/09/2013 that a bedbug was found. This was the first sighting. She sent in the pest control people into our apartment only and the bedbugs were confirmed. Max notified his employer and was told not to come to work. Joan, without Max's knowledge or permission called his company owner and argued with her stating the bugs were not a big deal, harassing his boss. Joan then said that communicating with the exterminator and the neighbors was my (Laura) responsibility. I asked her on 07/19/2013 when the exterminator was coming. She then sent a text message eviction notice to my brother and has not nor will not reply to me. The landlord then called code enforcement and allowed them in my apartment without notice or permission. This has been the story the entire time we have lived here, call landlord for anything and you never know if or when he will come since notice is never given. I contacted code enforcement both local Dick Colozza and the regional offices with no results. Currently I have a letter that states that I am not being cooperative and that I need to remove the electric outlet covers and light face plates. My lawyer stated this is their responsibility not mine. They have no plan to do pest control on the entire building as they have not contacted other neighbors and they have them as well. My home has been packed up and ready for pest control since 07/14/2013. They have not attempted to contact me except for recently on 08/02/2013 when I received a letter. I called before reading the letter and the landlord hung up on me upon me identifying myself. The letter was read to me and the landlord demanded that I contact them by mail. The apartment is unlivable. I cannot retrieve my property due to allergic reaction
