I moved into an apartment that is infested with bed bugs. The landlord told me after I moved into the apartment there was a bed bug infestation the previous year and that it was resolved at that time. As of 9/9/13 the problem is not resolved. My school work is being negatively effected due to this problem and I noticed one on my notebook while I was in class. I don't want to transport the problem to anyone else. I reported the problem and an exterminator treated the apartment on 9/6/13 and the problem is worse than before.

Renter Sep 17, 2013 50.121.209.205 1. I am willing to be relocated permanently due to bed bug infestation still active in the apartment as of 9/17/13 as seen by both of us tenants. I am not to be held responsible for the transportation of the bed bugs to the new apartment during any time of staying there. We did not bring the bed bugs to the initial apartment therefore we can't be held responsible if they are transported with us. Arthur has stated there is no live activity so if they are brought with us it's because his extermination was ineffective. Both of us tenants were prepared to the best of our ability with minor delays due to unspecific procedures in the treatment process. Tenants had questions for the exterminator about things not mentioned in the procedure, and prepared those areas as soon as we found out what to do, and then were out of the exterminators way. The bed bugs were still there as of 9/6/13 after the treatment and a second treatment was done on 9/12/13 and tenants were fully prepared for the treatment. Bed bugs are still there as of 9/17/13. We as tenants aren't the problem to the ineffective treatments and can't be held responsible for any transportation of bed bugs to the new apartment.
2. I want to be compensated for the loss of furniture, medical expenses to student health on 9/11/13 at 1:45pm, having a phobia of bed bugs due to this infestation, and for being diagnosed as anemic (when I have never been anemic before this infestation) on 9/11/13 at student health. I also want to be compensated for missing class due to lack of sleep caused by the bed bugs.
3. If bed bugs are brought to the new apartment I want to be able to be relocated temporarily until the issue is fully resolved. I don't want to have to live in another apartment with bed bugs when I am not the initial cause of the bed bugs.
