COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

The toilet is leaking again. Water is coming out of the back where it is sealed to the floor as well as through the bolts that are keeping it connected to the floor. We told MBR (Micki Blackburn Realty) on Sept. 14th, it took SIX DAYS to fix it, and it is leaking again. The window in the living room is STILL BROKEN OPEN. We told MBR about this at least 3 weeks ago and it still has yet to be fixed. Also, there is mold in the bathroom. It has been steadily growing for about a week now. I have informed MBR of this in the past, but nothing has been done. It is a health hazard. We have emailed Micki Blackburn several times asking for things to be fixed. Several times things were not fixed correctly and every time it took about a week or more for the incorrect fix to happen. When we signed the lease a week later we were told we could not move in on the agreed upon move in date because the septic tank needed to be replaced. One month after signing the lease the septic tank was fixed and a large pile of dirt still resides in our backyard to this day. The ONLY thing done in preparation for our moving in was spraying for bugs. The bugs dead bodies were left for us to deal with as we were moving in. There are still rooms with these same bugs lying on the floor. More bugs keep getting in because of the window which is broken open in our living room. The nozzle for the washer hookup still leaks. Yes the nozzle NOT the hose connecting the nozzle to the washer as our landlord/handyman claim. They replaced the hose, but the NOZZLE continues to leak, we are keeping a bucket under the leaky NOZZLE to contain the water that leaks. When we asked for the handyman to LOOK at the air conditioner in our bedroom we were told it was only a year old and that we knew there was no central air in the house. The air conditioner in our bedroom barely works, and make noises like something is clanking around inside of it. The "new" air conditioner in the living room did not work when it was first installed. We feel we are and were lied to about many issues we've had to deal with this rental property. I have never been treated so poorly (and I'm a teacher) by anyone in my life as I have by MBR. Personal or private life.
