I was allowed to move into this apartment before signing a lease. I was able to get the passcode on October 29, 2013 to begin moving my belongings into the apartment. I had to vacate my previous place by November 1, 2013. I finally received a lease through DocuSign from a Stephen Seefeld (sseefeld7@gmail.com) CP. I have asked maintainance to repair issues that I noticed on the walk through and also issues I notice after the walk through. The stove/oven, refrigerator and cabinets in the kitchen where not cleaned, which I had to clean. Since I moved into the apartment there has not been any smoke detectors nor a fire extinguisher. The bottom part of the refrigerator does not get cool, but the freezer freeze. The screen to the big glass window in the living room has been sitting on the back porch tore up. Pieces of the blinds are missing from the living room and two of the bedrooms. Some of the electrical outlets are not setup properly. Two of the bedroom and one of the bathroom doors do not close correctly. When I did my application for this apartment I listed two vehicles, i also listed one smoker. I was not told at no time that this was a non-smoking residency. I was not informed that as a tenant I would be required to repair my own leaky faucets, toilets, or etc. And that anything under $100 is minor and would be the tenants responsibility. I was not informed that the tenants are responsible for the central air/ heat equipment. I lived in a previous apartment for 8 1/2 years and the one I just moved out of, for almost 9 years and no complaints from neither Landlord. I would either like this lease to be revised or refunded my deposit so I can move.

Renter Dec 1, 2013 71.226.84.143 1.This actual company name is Cay Partners LLC., Yvette Smith is the Landlord. This has been one the worse apartment experiences I have had. I called and schedule to do a move out for November 27, 2013 at 5:00 pm and no one showed up on their behalf. However, illegally the passcode had been changed on the door before I gave them possession of the apartment. I will be taken them to small claims court if I do not receive my deposit within the 15 business days allowed in the state of Florida. They were already in default of my deposit, because the state of Florida requires them to give information on your deposit within 30 days, which I never received. I would advise anyone not to exchange any money with them useless you have actually reviewed the lease and fully understand what you are signing. Do not ever sign a lease that you do not have a full understanding of what you are reading, I refused to sign.
This would not be a company nor Landlord I would recommend to anyone. Always remember to take before and after pictures, then go through a mediation processes, such as this one. Plus make sure your previous Landlords can speak highly of you, as mine do and will. This was one of the most unprofessional Landlords I have ever dealt with.
