COMPLAINT : Repair Issues.
Fair Resolution according to renter :
  1. Have Paid Rent On Time Or Early For Over A Year With No Result. So I Refused Rent Till Problem Is Fixed.
  2. Thirty days to just move if will not fix problem.
  3. Call city inspector to assess problem and take immediant action.
  4. Reimbursement for any legal fees and/or RPA fees

COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

Electric company will not install meter until landlord has a licensed electrician call and say problem is fixed and inspected. Landlord has failed to do so for past three months. Electrical problems have been going on for over a year, but have gotten worse. I can not use my furnace, stove, kitchen outlets, or bathroom light or outlets. The month of 12/13 I have refused rent until problem is fixed. He gives me a three day notice. I have paid rent on time or early from 4/12 to 8/13, with promises to fix said problem. No action has been taken on landlords part. From 9/13 thru 11/13 I have delayed rent in hopes to fix problems. Again empty promises have been made. I paid all late fees for those months that were late. The landlord also has had a roach infestation since before I moved in. I bombed apartment before I moved in, because I witnessed dead roaches in cabinet. After I moved in the neighbors complained that when I bombed, bugs ran upstairs and later re-entered my apartment. Landlord refuses responsibility for bug problem. I want to move, but need to save money to do so without the threat of eviction when building is not up to code and I can't turn on electricity in my name. I have exhausted every effort to work with this man, and I do not know what to do anymore.
