COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

Our heat was turned off on 2/10/14 has not been turned back on. Thermostat has been removed. Access to fridge has been locked up. Being threatened to move out. We had a verbal agreement which she terminated. She has been scaring my children and they live in fear. She tossed my food out which spoiled. She makes noise above our bedroom at 5 am to purposely wake up. She gave us bed bugs and does not want us to be there to finish treating. She trashed her apartment showering both upstairs/downstairs w glass. Has attacked me twice in front of my kids. Put a lock on the basement door so I could not turn the heat back on. Broke a glass near where my kids sleep. She stated she wont stop terrorizing/harassing my family until we leave the apartment. This unit used to be a duplex but before moving in she has been converting it into a single family so the kitchen downstairs has no fridge or stove and the cabinets have been gutted. For the last 3 months we have sharing the upstairs kitchen which has been locked for the past 3 days. I have no access to keep my food from being spoiled. I cannot cook my food. She refuses to have a exterminator come and finish the job until we move out. She had bed bugs before we moved in n she didnt notify us until one month later. She claims to have given a 30 day written notice but I have not recieved it. She has been talking to my young children in a horrible manner. I just want to live peacefully without any more problems. We will be moving out as soon as I have the money available. Also it was not in our original agreement to pay for utilities but I gave her 200$ out of kindness then she demaned another 200$ less than one week later. She terminated our arrangement which I was to pick her kids up from school and give them dinner and have them complete homework. She took me off of the pick up list so I could jo longer do so. I also kept the house clean such as the kitchen area and living room. She has tried to force her way into my bedroom to remove the door which scaeed my children because my kids and I were in there watching a movie together having family night. The police have come multiple times for different reasons involving problems with my roommate/landlord. Renter Feb 24, 2014 99.139.161.2 1.I received a phone call from tiffany stating she wants us to move out before the final extermination process to eliminate the bed bugs. Upon waking up this morning I noticed my son had a bug bite on his cheek. I dont want to move until they are completely taken care of but also I have a 30 day notice to leave the premises by March 5th and do not want any added problems but also dont want bed bugs in my new home.

Renter Feb 17, 2014 99.139.161.2 1.My family and spent the weekend spending time with family and friends. Only because the heat was still turned off. Tiffany called my phone and spoke with my mother because I am and have been trying to avoid confrontation. My husband my self and my son went to 3400 s xhase to sleep together because we used a space heater in the only bedroom to stay warm. She woke us up by ponding upstairs at 5:20 in the morning for and hour then again at 9:40am again for another hour. The only noise being made upstairs was above the bedroom we were sharing. At 10:30 am we woke up to still no heat and decided to spend the day at my mothers house. When we left the bedroom both of the doors were once again wide open and thw front door was proped open with a rug again. When she spoke with my mother she claimed she "accidentally" forgot to close the doors. The front door is never used and used to be tapped shut until she started proping open the doors. This was no accident and she is trying to forcibly evict us from the unit even though I agreed and was very compliant about being out by the beginning of March. I spoke with the owner this morning when he was outside salting the walk ways and asked him to call his daughter to get the issue with the heat resolved. After arriving at my mothers I called the department of neighborhood services about no heat and will return there tonight at 8. I have a meeting with the building inspector tomorrow morning if the issue hasnt been resolved. I would also like to note that my anxiety has been extremely horrible dew to all of the childish nonsense. I will contact rpa tomorrow to find out the status of this complaint.

Renter Feb 14, 2014 99.139.161.2 1.Tiffany schuyler called my phone and my mother answered and she told her that since she recieved a complaint yesterday 2/13/2014 that she is giving me a 5 day notice. Also I was unable to stay at the house last night because there was no heat on at all and my children are cold and starting to get sick. I called the department of neighborhood services and am waiting for an investigator to contact me so they can order her to turn the heat back on. While talking with my mother she stated she accidentally left the doors open but the front inside door was wide open with a rug shoved in front of it to keep it drom closing and the screen door was proped open and the back/side door was wide open and since the bar to prop the screen door open is broken the storm window was completely opened so she could make it extremely cold and try to force us to move out before the 30 day notice is up.

Renter Feb 13, 2014 99.139.161.2 1.Once again I arrived home and both the back/side door and the front door were wide open. My 4 year old son was wearing a t-shirt a sweater over that and a hoodie wrapped in a blanket sitting infront of a space heater shivering. The doors were open since 11:30 am until we arrived home at 4:00 pm.

Renter Feb 13, 2014 99.139.161.2 1.On the night of 02/12/2014 my family and I returned home to find both doors to the downstairs open to make it colder and no heat has been turned on as of today. I did find the 30 day written notice signed by both tiffany and delwin schuyler. It is is dated on the 8th of February and I agreed to comply with terms. Also in our orginal verbal agreement since she has a two car garage she parks her van on the outside to the right and we park one car to the left and the other car as she instructed to park the long way between the street and side walk. We always leave before her because our daughters school is further away so we leave 5 to 10 mins sooner. This morning after making loud noises above our bedroom to wake us up she contacted the police and xlaimed that we were blocking her in and we recieved a $60 ticket. If she would have staed she did not want us to park there anymore I would have compliedmto avoid any more issues. I will be going to court for this parking ticket but I have to pay for it and want reimbursement for her childness behavior.
