My girlfriend and myself were employed with alexico inc in affiliation with mcdonalds corporation when we met our current landlord Antonio Barquin. He also happens to be the owner operator of the company. He rented the house out to me Janurary 22 2012 for $700 a month with $350 being deducted twice a month for rent. I left the organization in March 2013 in which Antonio BARQUIN began deducting rent out of Jourdan kraemers check (my girlfriend) to cover rent. No issues thus far. Now in March 2014 Jourdan kraemer put in a 2 week resignation to the organization. Now Antonio barquin is retaliating against us requiring that we both move out immediately. I have tried reasoning with Antonio informing him that Florida law protects us as tenents. As of 3/28 Jose barquin stopped by the premesis unannounced demanding we move out by the last day of the month. I have yet to come to an agreement with the landlord who is now threatening to cut off our utilities if we don't vacate the premises. This is unlawful!
