COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

We had a flood in our apartment on Thursday the 21st of August between the time of 3pm and 11:30am. The water heater broke when my boyfriend and myself were not home. The super let himself in to try and clean up the water. Upon arriving at 11:30am to my apartment I noticed water on the floor and items in the sink that were soaked. I did not see a note from the Super letting us know what happened or that we had no hot water. After calling the emergency number I found out what happened and I was told they tried calling a number that was out of service. They should have still left a note. As we began cleaning our wooden floors began to pop up. Our water heater was replaced first thing the next morning and we had them look at our floors. They said the floors might go down and did not call anyone in to order new flooring. We went away on vacation and came back to a mildew smell in the apartment. They finally had someone look at the floors and order new tiles. We were told they would be arriving in two to three days. It is now Friday and we have not heard anything. We contacted the office and they told us now we would need to first wait until the floor dried all the way before the new floors could be put down. We were also told that the tiles had not come in yet. It is a holiday weekend and we have a three year old daughter who has allergies and asthma. We are concerned mold is growing and we do not want our daughter playing on the floor as she might get hurt, The management office has not offered to do anything else for us to resolve this issue. I also have pictures of the damage.
