COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

The landlord did not act quickly enough and did not reassure us that they would take care of the problem in a timely manner. We moved in on the 24th of August and we really didn't discover the issue until September 12. We notified our rental office on September 12th and a exterminator out on Monday the 15th and we were told how to wash, dry and bag all clothing and appointment would be rescheduled. They came back on Wednesday September 17th and treated but what good is that if the adjacent units aren't inspected and treated as well in a timely manner. If needed we have pictures of the evidence and findings. My family can't even sleep comfortably now, bungled up on couches, living out of trash bags until extermination is repeated and in fear of been bitten again. We just moved in! Nobody should be mistreated as we have by Lakes of Westdale and Oakwood Management Company and have to live like this. Lastly, We have evidence from previous landlord that we never had this problem and at move out they had a "bed bug specific inspection and none were present. This was also faxed to The Lakes of Westdale.
