1. In July I called Clint to see if I could get our of my lease. He stated I had it until November 1. So I said, I will keep it. Around August 8, Clint called my mom to see if I still want out because he had a buddy going through divorce and needed a place. He stated to my mom that I would get all the deposit back. My mom told him I had a workbench he could purchase for $75.00 and he agreed at $50.00. Clint and my mom agreed on the above. By August 15, he already had his new renter in the apartment. (verified by City of Groton electrical bill company.) My mom and myself has made several phone calls and text Clint about the deposit. He even text my mom to get the address to mail the deposit. On September 14, my mom called, he answered and when he knew it was her, he hung up. She then called back on a Montana cell, he spoke till he knew it was my mom and hung up again. 2. Work Bench - we have also not received this money 3. 1/2 August rent - Because he agreed to have the guy move in, I feel I should be given back half of my rent for August as he approach my mom and myself. 4. Attached you will see the harassment he did. This is the kind of stuff he would always do. This is very inappropriate for a landlord. This should not be allowed. 5. I also attached a photo of the fire alarm along with the date that shows that alarm was never fixed. You will also see on the lease where my mom called and documented what was wrong in the apartment and dated it. Nothing was ever fixed. I did give him a couple of notes with my rent checks and misplaced my copies. I asked for you to look into all of this. My mom helps me with my bills and making decisions as well as my father. He or anyone else should have a problem with my parents and my choices. Please contact me with this complaint. You may call my mom if you want at 701-471-9159. He was rude, so I would have my mom deal with him.
