I have a problem with my downstairs neighbors filing complaints with my landlord for every little noise they might hear. I feel like I cannot even be at my place or use my amenities because things like the sliding door to my balcony makes to much noise. I understand that after 10pm we are supposed to drop the noise level but I still like to go out on my balcony and talk on the phone quietly or have a friend over. The way the complex is built voices and any noises carry very easily. I currently stay most of my days at my parents house because I don't feel comfortable being at my apt. The couple times that I might be there I get a complaint from the landlord. I feel very stressed out at this point. Irene the landlord told me herself that she has not heard noise coming from my place herself. It just the constant harassment that the people from downstairs put on both of us. I don't feel like it's my fault the way the complex is designed. I just want to be able to live at my place that I pay for and use my amenities. Now I feel like they are making a point to try to get me evicted. At the point where I feel like I'm being harassed.
