I received a Final account statement on 11/12/14 that we owe for Carpet replacement - Heavy wear and stains equal to $1,029.39. We were given no option but to pay for new carpet which is absurd. The carpet in the apartment is very cheap and didn't hold up to normal wear and tear in part probably due to poor installation, not being stretched and secured properly. After being a good tenant it is really sad to receive such a cold notice as quoted below: "Your move out charges have been outlined above. Please remit payment immediately to Platinum Castle Hills or call 972-899-6333 to discuss payment options. If no contact is made within thirty (30) days, this account will be turned over to collections without further notice. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter."
