COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

I received notification on 12/21/15 via notice posted on my door that my rent had not been paid for December. I proved using bank statement and payment receipt that I paid my rent on time and the money had come out of my account. By this time Westgate had already advised the Sheriff on 12/14/15 to serve a Failure to Pay Rent Notice. I was not notified until 1/8/2016 that I had to appear in court on 1/15/2016. I was reassured by the office manager this mistake was taken care of. I did attend court and this case was dismissed but I have been unable to get written notification from Westgate, Geller Associates, or the attorney representing Westagte that this case was in fact dismissed and was filed in error. When I attended court one of the attorneys acknowledged my case was falsely filed. I want this is writing and I want out of my lease immediately. I absolutely feel this is defamation of my character, harassment, and unjustified. I have been a resident for 2 years and have never missed or been late paying my rent.
