COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

The manager instructed maintenance personnel to entry my unit without providing any notification and without my consent to replace the furnace filter. The management staff will not respond to phone messages or emails through the residential portal or their own email address. My concern is identity theft. Since I was not given any notice, I had my tax forms, social security number, bank information and credit card information laying on the counter. I do not know if any of my information has been compromised and since they are not communicating and I do not have proof if anything was taken or any pictures taken of my information, I no longer feel safe. This was not an emergency maintenance request nor was it a request on my behalf. My privacy and now my personal information has been compromised because I was not given the opportunity to lock up my personal information. Since, the management does not answer emails or phone messages and I feel my safety is of concern, I have barricaded my front entrance where no one can now enter or I can leave if an emergency occurs. My only entrance and exit is through the garage. I do have pictures of the note the maintenance person left behind. I did have a safety bar that maintenance personnel removed. I do not know if the front door, lock or handle has been damaged.
