Fairway Oaks Aparments    |    Christa King    |    Tampa    ,    Florida 33613    Landlord Complaint 23-7357

I lived in a 1 bedroom at Fairway Oaks for about 10 months, with not so much as 1 maintenance request. Then I needed more space so I transferred to a 2 bed 2 bath this past April, at the same complex. I have never had, or even seen what a bed bug looked like until this past week. I google what they looked like and that\\\'s exactly what\\\'s in my place. I informed my landlord and she and the maintenance guy visited my place with me and determined my place is indeed affected with bed bugs. She said they would initially pay for all treatments but I\\\'d have to repay them in installments. I was totally shocked and highly upset knowing I\\\'d be charged. I asked why should I pay, and she had the nerve to say I had to have brought them home from my job at Tmobile, the grocery store, or any other place I may have been. At this point, I\\\'m completely insulted at her remarks. I\\\'ve worked this job and still frequent the same grocery stores for years and no other place I\\\'ve lived has had this problem. I am not to blame so I should not have to foot this bill. Please help!
