COMPLAINT : Lease Violation Maintenance Issue Complaint HVAC Inhabitable / Property.

  2. After 38 days, landlord contracted outside company to fix the problem. Thank you!

COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

HVAC unit of the property stop working on June 16, 2017 Immediately it was informed to the Property Manager via phone and e-mail. This is a moderate complaint which should have been fixed within 48 hrs. It\\\'s Summer time and the living conditions on the property are extreme making it inhabitable. Also our medical conditions have deteriorated since then. This is a clear violation to the lease and living conditions by HUD. On June 27, 2017 The landlord call us to let us know that the property manager was no longer representing him and all deals should be with him directly. He was going to take care of the problem. Five different technicians have come and go with no resolution just empty promises and excuses for non compliance. Landlord is waiting on American Home Shield to fix the problem but days pass by and we still with no HVAC unit working on the property. They schedule appointments we confirm them and then no call no show from their part. Almost 30 days with no A/C is abusive They show up today with the wrong part asking for additional seven to ten days. Unacceptable!
