COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

I have lived at Bardstown Farms apartments for nearly 14 years. On Sunday, May 28th, I found a dead bed bug while I was changing my sheets. It was Memorial Day weekend so no one was in the office but I called and left a message. I took my bedroom apart checking inside of the dresser drawers, closets, box springs and every place I could think and found no other evidence. I also checked the rest of the apartment to be sure. On Wednesday, May 31st, Homeland\\\'s bug guy came and checked everything too and could not find any evidence either. I told him all the furniture and decor I own I have had for several years so there\\\'s no way I brought it in. I told him the only thing different was I got rid of my landline phone and unplugged it from the jack in the wall that my bed rests up against. He said that it probably couldn\\\'t have come in through there but I had my doubts. Since that time I have been doing periodic checks of the room. Almost two months later, on Tuesday, July, 11, I found a live bed bug on that same phone jack behind the bed. I picked it up and it popped between my fingers and it had blood in it. I had my suspicions that they were coming from maybe another apartment through that phone jack so I taped it over in packing tape. I called Homeland again and the bug guy came out on Friday, July 14, and did a complete inspection of my apartment and, again, found no evidence. He took some of the tape off the phone jack and put two glue traps under it. It was all clear until the morning of Sunday, July 16, when I found a bed bug in the glue trap under that very same phone jack. I taped it all back up solid and bought some glue traps to but under my bed legs to make me feel safer sleeping. Since that time, I have seen no other bugs or activity. I called Homeland on the Monday after and told them about it. They said I had some kind of beg bug clause in my lease and I would have to pay for it to be treated and that I should \\\"get on it\\\". I do not think I am responsible for this because they are coming in through only one place in the wall and there has been no activity or signs anywhere else.
