We are the former tenants of 72 Maney avenue. We had complained early on about the bad linoleum tile floor and how much moisture damage was done to the kitchen in general prior to us moving in. When we actually met the landlord she stated in this in her very own words \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'It\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s always been that way\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'. Now Phoenix properties has made the executive decision to keep some of our deposit after not ever properly fixing other problems related to the property. The deposit we gave them was $1500 of which they have decided to keep $657.02. Since August 1st we have moved to a new property because the service and upkeep on the 72 Maney property of Asheville Phoenix Properties was extremely poor and they had given us additional stress in a house that already needed a lot of repair work. We are consulting with a lawyer to sue Asheville Phoenix Properties and the Landlords as a result of their decision.
