COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

At my current apartment complex, I was informed that parking is first come first serve and that there were no assigned parking. However, without notice I started seeing assigned private spots, not handicapped spots, just spots noted by the community as private. I asked about this and I was informed that certain residents went through a process by which they were allowed to obtain such spots, apparently they were approved. I was informed that it was related to medical reasoning. However, mind you, that the apartment complex recently took out two handicap spots this year. These private spots are not Handicap spots and the residents who have the spots do not have handicap hang tags and are not handicapped. These residents are not paying more for these spots, which are in areas beneficial to them, being that they are close and in safe locations. The rest of the residents still have to struggle to get a good spot. Also the handicap spots are actually farther away, so these spots are actually better than the handicap spots.
