On Tuesday, April 12, 2022 I received an email from the Leasing office stating \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" I just wanted to bring to your attention regarding a noise complaint we had. Please be mindful after 10:00p.m that you do have neighbors below you and around you. They have been hearing quite a bit of noise late in the evening and heavy footsteps until at least midnight.\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" - First of all - I do not know how they can pinpoint it to be MY apartment as there are several above the 2nd floor close together and secondly, as I read, \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"walking\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" in your own apartment does not fall under justification of a noise violation. AND I told them that I don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t wear shoes, I come home from work at 5pm, take a shower, then sit on my couch and watch my phone (not even my TV) and go into bed between 9:30pm - 10pm. My bedroom is carpeted and keep in mind I have a very small one bedroom apartment so for me to walk from my living room to the bathroom and/or bedroom is under 20 steps at least. So there is no way that i could have been me being that I was already in bed. As for noise, I live alone. I NEVER have anyone over and haven\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t since December and one day in March when my exboyfriend had to come because we had to put our dog down. And as I said, I watch movies on my phone, so there is no loud TV or music EVER. Especially late at night because I work 40-60 hours a week, I am depressed over losing my dog, so I am tired and keep to myself all of the time. The other thing was that I found it very ironic that early Monday, April 11th around 12:30am, I heard extremely loud yelling sounding like it was coming from my neighbor or downstairs (I live on the 2nd floor). It was so loud it woke me up and I didn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t know if a man and a woman were arguing and fighting or what. So I called the main number and left a message about it. It continued and started making me nervous. I went in the hallway to the right to my neighbors door and listened and then could tell it was their TV blaring loud. Again, ironically the next day, I get a \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"noise complaint\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" against me and the leasing person said to me \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"No, that is no coincidence\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" when I suggested it was. She went on to say that this was not the first noise complaint. Well I told her, It is to me because no one has ever said anything in the past. What really upsets me is that I KNOW for a fact, number one, I absolutely do not make noise late in the evening and it is also not a violation to walk in your apartment.
