COMPLAINT DETAILS (from renter)

Next door neighbor, Ronald Girnus (in apartment #2), has been harassing me continually for the past year and nine months including threatening my life, harassing, threatening the lives of (as well as cocking at them), and driving new tenants out of apartment #3 within two weeks of them moving in. I had a temporary restraining order on him but he violated it on at least four occasions. I agreed for it to go to mediation and he has been continually violating the mediation agreement as recently as August 5th, 2022. I have been reaching out for help from the landlord(s) and property management but they have failed to protect me as well as other tenants from an abusive tenant/unsafe living conditions. I filed a lawsuit but agreed to drop it because my mental health and health has deteriorated to the point where I have recently gone to a crisis respite twice, the Kaiser Emergency Department, crisis counseling, and I am now scheduled to start an intensive outpatient mental health program and possibly an inpatient one. The lawyer for the landlord(s) and property management told me that they are afraid that Ronald Girnus will sue them if they try to evict him. They are responsible for providing safe living conditions for their tenants but they are definitely not and it continues to be unsafe here as my health and my mental health is continuing to dramatically decline. I will be reaching out for help from as many sources as I can because it is not right to do this to your tenants especially when I have been cleaning/maintaining the property for free, maintained and upgraded the landscaping/gardening, and continue to keep the property and parking area neat, clean, and free of litter, etc.
