leaking gutters that dispurse water onto mossy wood stairs making them slippry in summer and icy in winter!, pointed out these problems before and after moving in 3 years ago, landlord regurlarly ignores request

Renter Aug 14, 2009 64.126.166.20 8/14/09: We had still no response from the landlord regarding our complaint. As these items are SERIOUS liability issues we will consider getting the needed repairs done and deducting the cost from the rent . Sad that it could come to this!

Agent Aug 16, 2009 CASE TO BE CLOSED: Due to the refusal to cooperate, the RPA has no choice but to close this case. A negative record will be attached to the landlords record within 30 days. Case Closed.

Agent Aug 16, 2009 REPAIRS TO BE MADE: Agent suggest that the tenant provide management with a certified letter requesting the repairs be completed by a certain date. Following the expiration tenant should seek counsel on how to deduct the repair cost from rent. Agent cannot provide legal advice concerning this process and suggest the tenant contact a local attorney concerning the issue.

Agent Aug 16, 2009 NO RESPONSE CONFIRMATION: Agent has not received any response from management. It is obvious that management is requiring the tenant to take this complaint to the next level.
